In addition to the CEO, PMHC also has eight very talented and dedicated members of our Executive Management Team who oversee the programs and functions of the agency:
Karen Buher – Associate Executive Director
Karen joined the Agency as an outpatient therapist in October of 1990. Karen has a Master Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. Karen oversees Child & Family Priority Services, as well as all of our Residential Programs. These programs include: Behavioral Health Rehabilitation (Wraparound) Services, Family Based Mental Health Services, children’s residential case management & monitoring, Intensive Community Residential Rehabilitation (ICRR) Program as well as our 4 Supported Living Programs, where she oversees 49 residential slots in programs throughout the Lower Bucks County community.
Hema Gandhi – Chief Financial Officer
Hema joined the Agency in July of 2018 and has over 20 years of progressive accounting experience in the non-profit industry. Throughout her career, she has successfully led major organizational initiatives and achieved substantial business results. Prior to working at PMHC, Hema was the Chief Financial Officer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark, NJ and Controller for the Occupational Center of Union County, NJ. Hema oversees all fiscal/financial management for PMHC.
Asad Hussain, M.D. – Medical Director
Dr. Hussain joined the Agency as a psychiatrist in May of 2020 and became Medical Director in August of 2020. Dr. Hussain obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. Prior to coming to PMHC, Dr. Hussain was the Associate Medical Director of the Eating Disorders Unit at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center and Medical Director at Family Guidance Center in Washington Township NJ. Dr. Hussain is responsible for the medical oversight of PMHC programs and for the quality of clinical work performed by the medical staff.
Dave Marsden – Associate Executive Director
Dave joined the Agency as an Intensive Case Manager in March of 1994 and was quickly promoted to Case Management Supervisor. Dave transferred to our Information Technology Department in 2010 as the Business Analyst. He was promoted to Director of Information Technology and Business Development in 2012 and then to AED in July of 2019. Dave has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island and has obtained numerous certifications in various IT fields. Dave oversees Business Development & Information Systems at PMHC.
Aaron McHugh, LPC, NCC QDDP – Associate Executive Director
Aaron joined the Agency in November of 2019, however, Aaron began his professional career as a Supports Coordinator at PMHC from 2006 to 2010. Aaron holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Holy Fmily University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional. Aaron previously worked as a Behavioral Specialist for Merakey’s Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team and as a Clinical Coordinator/Behavioral Specialist for Supportive Behavioral Resources. Aaron oversees Intellectual Disabilities Supports Coordination, Mental Health Community Treatment (Assertive Community Treatment Team and Forensic Community Treatment Team) and Case Management, which includes Blended Case Management, Administrative Case Management and P.A.T.H. (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness).
Carrie Myers , PHR – Human Resources Director
Carrie joined the Agency as Human Resources Assistant in August of 2010. Carrie was promoted to Human Resources Coordinator in 2013 and Human Resources Director in 2019. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from East Stroudsburg University and has been a Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR) since 2004. Before coming to PMHC, Carrie was the Director of Human Resources for the Remington Corporation/Sheraton Bucks County Hotel where she was awarded HR Director of the Year. Carrie recently was a nominee for Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year. Carrie oversees all HR functions for PMHC.
Doug Oberreit – Compliance Officer
Doug joined the Agency in April of 2016. Doug holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Shippensburg University of PA. Prior to coming to PMHC, Doug had been the Director of Operations and the Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer at Aldie Foundation in Doylestown and before that he held a similar QA & Compliance position at Family Service Association of Bucks County. He has a long history of executive management and direct service work in various mental health and drug & alcohol treatment organizations. Doug oversees all corporate compliance functions and activities for PMHC.
Elodie Witkowski, LCSW, CAADC – Associate Executive Director
Elodie joined the Agency in February of 2010. Elodie holds a Master Degree in Social Work from Marywood University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Prior to coming to PMHC, Elodie was the Director of Clinic Based Services at NHS (now Merakey) and Director of Clinical Services at Riverside Care, Inc. Elodie oversees all ambulatory mental health and drug & alcohol treatment services and supports at our Main Center (1517 Durham Road) and at the offices at 919 Durham Road.
